THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEAR. The tour includes visits to Central Park, the Kahn and Carnegie Mansions, and a plethora of famous locations used in films such as: "84 Charing Cross Road," "American Psycho," "The House on 92nd Street," "The International," "The Fisher King," and "Marathon Man." The former homes of Marlene Dietrich, Jacquelin Kennedy Onassis, J.D. Salinger, Andy Warhol, and Truman Capote show up as well.

There's even a competitive category for Sniplers®,30-second mini-trailers featured to garner attention for films not yet made. This makes for great, rich content to share with film advocates and among their online community. Through courses and workshops, this unique programme provides students with both theoretical and practical training in all stages of the audiovisual production process for all kinds of media (cinema, television, the web, videogames, mobile devices).

The festival will feature 87 new media films and projects from 34 countries. During the 2014 European Science TV and new Media Festival at ESOF in Copenhagen, a jury of scientists, producers and science journalists selected a shortlist of productions for each category.

Featured veteran Cinematographer James Mathers, President, The Digital Cinema Society, Ted Schilowitz, his current roles are as Futurist for 20th Century Fox and Chief Creative Officer at Barco Michael Mansouri, Co-Founder of Radiant Images, Terry Brown, Nvidia and Jonathan Landman, Teradek that discussed New Media Content and looking to the future, was followed by a Q&A.

Cinema and New Technologies: takes a more in-depth look at film directing techniques, while also guiding students through a theoretical and critical analysis of cinema; introduces digital filmmaking and animation, the economic strategies of filmmaking, and strategies for the distribution and preservation of films.

And New Media Film Festival board member, Randy Bellous, met a panelist's mother at the festival. For starters, the festival changed names twice, becoming the New Montreal International Festival of Cinema, Video and New Technologies in 1995 and finally the Montreal International Festival of New Cinema and Film Festival New Media (FCMM) in 1997.

The films and video art presented throughout the duration of the exhibit will tease the imagination and express a profound impact. On June 6, 2017, join the film festival's kick-off party, a 2-hour wine and cheese event that includes a highlight reel screening that shows the current year's content and people.

Digital films, documentary, alternative videos will all be a part of NeMaf. This is for any type of film & media content that has a socially responsible message and would like to be considered for competition in this category. The Toronto International Film Festival has become one of the world's leading public film festivals.

Saturday, May 21st will be an all-day affair with panels such as "Webseries SuperStar Creators" (which will also feature the panelists works, film screenings, Q&A with filmmakers and producers, more screenings, and a sweet "Rock N Roll Photography Exhibit" by photographer Jim Steinfeldt ). At the end of the day, there will be a big awards presentation where the Grand Prize winner and the winners of each New Media category will be announced by some pretty cool folks (Sally Kirkland, Erin Gray and John Saxon, for example).

From Tel Aviv, Israel comes LIVYATANIM: Myth an interactive web based virtual reality short film, featuring the music of LIVYATANIM directed by Or Fleisher, will have it's LA Premiere at the 7th Annual New Media Film Festival June 7-9 2016 in Los Angeles CA.
